Paranga Primary School

Re. Appointment of Mr. Dennis Toko as an International Ambassador for Paranga Primary School

I am delighted to inform you that Paranga Primary School is a government aided Church of Uganda founded primary school in Greater Oleba Sub-county, Maracha District and War-ravaged Nile sub-region of Uganda. The school was established in 1936 and later registered by Ministry of Education in 1942. Currently, the school has 1456 pupils with 21 teachers. And I am grateful to inform you that the products of this school have served in prestigious and high profile government positions.

Being an old school, the challenges that the school face are enormous. Notably:

  • Inadequate class rooms

  • No fencing

  • Inadequate accommodation for staff and the dilapidation of standing structures

  • No source of power (electricity)

  • Poor sanitary facilities

  • Inadequate text books and no library

  • No computers to embrace ICT

  • The staff and the pupils are not being exposed through educational tour…

In light of the above challenges, the school has found it befitting to have an international ambassador that can help to fundraise and mobilize resources in order to enable the school to become a model school.

The School Management has known Mr. Dennis Toko as a person of undoubted integrity and desires to bring community transformation through the provision of quality education in the school. We therefore humbly appoint Mr. Dennis Toko, who is based in the United Kingdom (UK), as an International Ambassador to lobby support for Paranga Primary School.
