Patongo Primary School

Founded 1942

Patongo Primary School is one of the government aided Church of Uganda founded primary schools in the Agago District, Northern Uganda, Acholi Sub-region.

The school is registered under Ministry Education Sports and Culture (MOES), registration 6110063

Currently, Patongo Primary School has a lot of challenges which includes but not limited to;

Lack of stable power sources for adequate lighting the school
The school is an open environment i.e. not fenced therefore stray animals enter the school compound
Not enough accommodation for pupils
The school experiences flooding during rainy seasons, and the UPE grant the government sends is inadequate to run all daily activities of the school.

After watching a YouTube video last year of Patongo primary school based in Agago district, Pader, Northern Uganda performing a musical see video

I was impressed and touched

I in turn donated an electric guitar and amplifier that my son no longer used

The whole school turned out recently to receive the electric guitar and amplifier and show their appreciation.

I have now received a letter making me the School’s International Ambassador

I am honored and will now begin process of fundraising for materials , resources etc. the school is in desperate need of

If you have any materials, be it books, IT equipment, musical equipment, sports equipment etc. that you no longer using but are in reasonable condition please get in touch with me and I will organise to collect and ship to Uganda
